The Waxhaw Public Arts Committee is soliciting proposals from qualified artists, or teams of artists, to provide design and implementation services for an exterior mural in Downtown Waxhaw. The site of work for this project is the Great Wagon Road building located near the intersection of Church St and WN Main Street (Address: 122 W North Main St. Waxhaw). The total project area is approximately 12ft x 20ft. Pictures and measurements of the mural site are included at the end of the RFP form linked below.
The Waxhaw Public Art Committee, Downtown Waxhaw Association Board, and Downtown Design Committee will serve as the body to evaluate artist proposals and make recommendations. The Town of Waxhaw and Downtown Waxhaw Association will contract directly with the artist after selection.
