Waxhaw's Christmas Parade will be held on Sunday, December 10 at 3 p.m. in downtown Waxhaw featuring local school marching bands, entries and floats by 70 businesses and members of the community and an appearance from a special guest from the North Pole! Announcers cover the entire parade route to make sure that you hear all of the details surrounding the fun entries passing by. The theme for 2023 is "Merry & Bright!"
Event Timeline:
- 2:30 PM: Parade Route closed to inbound traffic. Outbound traffic may still exit.
- 2:45 PM: Parade Route closed to ALL vehicles.
- 5:30 PM: Parade Route to re-open for vehicles.
- Please try to arrive early and expect delays.
New for 2023: For the safety of our guests and participants, please note that there will no longer be available parking along the parade route. We encourage all of those in attendance to take advantage of the FREE shuttle service; please see shuttle times and pickup/drop-off locations below.
