Todd Matthews has lead the Public Services Department since January of 2002. Todd is attending the UNC School of Government's Municipal and County Administration course with a graduation date in 2013. He recently became a NCLTAP Roads Scholar through NC State (Soils, Concrete and Road Management) and has completed Stormwater Finance and Management training at the UNC School of Government. As the Director of Public Services, Todd keeps abreast of any training offered and has garned a list of accomplishments that include: Hazardous Materials Operations/OSHA Level II, NIMS (FEMA) certifications-levels 100-700, and ITRE Workzone Safety Flagger certifications. He is also proud of the annual safety certifications his department receives, and recently accepted his 10 Year Service Award. Todd is also proud to be a charter member of Amazing Grace Lutheran Church.
