Looking to clear some clutter and dispose of confidential documents or electronic media? The Town of Waxhaw will host a “Shred Day” on Saturday, April 13 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Waxhaw Police Department, 3620 Providence Road South. Paper clips, staples, folders, and envelopes can be included with the documents. What NOT to shred: Batteries, hard drives, large metal objects, syringes, sharp objects, food, glass, cans, cardboard tubes, pressurized containers, electrical items, ink cartridges, and toners. This is a great way to dispose of your documents safely and securely.
